McCray Mansion tour

Dawn McGahen, back center, talks about the custom-built McCray refrigerator that was installed in the McCray Mansion to a large tour group making its way through the historic mansion Sunday afternoon in Kendallville. The mansion was open for tours as part of the Kendallville Sesquicentennial celebration. The tours were very popular, with more than 600 people taking part.

Sesquicentennial fly-in

Windy, overcast conditions Sunday curtailed planned activities in the morning at the annual Kendallville Airport Fly-in, but conditions improved after noon and visitors could take rides in planes and gliders and enjoy breakfast and lunch served by the American Legion Post 86. Here different types of aircraft are parked on the airport taxiway for visitors to get a close up look.
