Man injured in tree-cutting accident

BUTLER — A rural Butler man was flown to an area hospital after he was injured in a tree-cutting accident in the 6000 block of C.R. 36, southwest of Butler, around 5 p.m. Sunday.

The man, whose name and age were not available at press time, was cutting a tree when a limb came down on him, pinning him several feet above the ground, according to Butler Fire Chief Jeff Shultz.
