Christopher Charles Tarman, 17, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, from injuries in a traffic accident on C.R. 127 north of New Paris.

He was a junior at Fairfield High School and worked at Everett's Grocery Store in Goshen. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and formerly attended St. John's Catholic School.

He was born in Columbia City Feb. 16, 1986, to David and Laura (McClement) Tarman.

Surviving are one sister, Sarah A. Tarman of New Paris; two brothers, David I. Tarman of Elkhart and Todd Burton of Tampa, Fla.; grandparents, Beverly Tarman of Goshen and Irene McClement of Rome City; and aunts and uncles, Sandy and Sid Fischer of Kendallville, Kim and Mark Leiter of Avilla and Charles and Roxanna McClement of Rome City.

Services were held Monday.

Memorials are to Fairfield High School.
