GARRETT - Eighteen Garrett High School seniors will compete in the 47th annual Miss Garrett Pageant Saturday, Aug. 2, in the Performing Arts Center.

This year’s contestants are sponsored by local organizations and businesses. They include:

• Kelsey Pinckney, daughter of Valerie and Daniel Smith and Greg Pinckney, is sponsored by Garrett Veterinary Clinic. She will dance to “Remix Heart Breaker and Swing” for her talent.

• Moriah Lilley, daughter of Jim and Chris Lilley, is sponsored by Hixson Sand & Gravel. She will sing “He Knows My Name” for her talent.

• Courtney Wisel, daughter of Rich and Charity Wisel, is sponsored by MJS Apparel. She will perform a skit for her talent.

• Ashton Johnson, daughter of Brad and Kathy Johnson, is sponsored by Garrett State Bank. She will tap-dance to “Got to be Startin’ Something” for her talent.

• Lauren Cordes, daughter of John and Lisa Cordes, is sponsored by the Garrett Eagles. She will play “My Strongest Suit” on the piano for her talent.

• Brittany Clements, daughter of John and Kathy May and Jim and Dawn Clements, is sponsored by May Construction. She will perform a flag routine to “See You Again” for her talent.

• Jamie Osborne, daughter of Julie Osborne and Chris Crager, is sponsored by Tireville, Inc. She will dance to “I Believe” for her talent.

• Chelsea Brown, daughter of Denise Green and Randel Brown, is sponsored by Alliance Industries. She will play “Yesterday” on the piano for her talent.

• Breanna Johnson, daughter of Brian and Angie Johnson, is sponsored by Garrett Hardware. She will sing for her talent.

• Autumn Bowser, daughter of Carl and Wanda Banning, is sponsored by the Garrett American Legion Auxiliary. She will be dance for her talent.

• Sarah Kahkola, daughter of Sean and Billie Kahkola, is sponsored by DeKalb Financial Credit Union. She will sing and dance for her talent.

• Brea Williams, daughter of Lisa Boller and Dusty Williams, is sponsored by Miller’s Merry Manor of Garrett. She will be sing for her talent.

• Kayla Overbay, daughter of Matt and Suzanne Overbay, is sponsored by Psi Iota Xi Sorority. She will dance to “Just a Girl” for her talent.

• Lindsey Bevilacqua, daughter of Walter and Joanna Comer, is sponsored by Garrett American Legion Post 178. She will dance to “Pop Lock and Rock It” for her talent.

• LeeAnna Pepple, daughter of Kathy Pepple and Michael Quick, is sponsored by Professional and Business Women. She will perform a jazz dance to “Flash Dance” for her talent.

• Delena Halferty, daughter of Matthew and Catherine Halferty, is sponsored by Dr. Mann’s Family Dentistry. She will dance to “We Will Rock You” for her talent.

• Tiffany Boltz, daughter of David and Joyce Boltz, is sponsored by Garrett Lions Club. She will dance to a remix for her talent.

• Lauren Drzewiecki, daughter of Tom and Tina Drzewiecki, is sponsored by Garrett Rotary Club. She will tap dance to “It’s All About that Walk” for her talent.

Tickets for the pageant are now on sale at the Garrett Greenhouse, 604 South Walsh St., for $8 each.

Pam Hampshire is the pageant director. She is assisted by Julie Christensen, who also serves as stage manager. Rachel Conn Evans and Samantha Brewer are choreographers.

Bob Novy will serve as emcee for the evening. Tara Burley of It’s About Time Photography will be the pageant photographer.

Nina Grill of Fort Wayne, Jerry Mow of Angola and Karly Kirkpatrick of Albion will serve as judges.
