CHURUBUSCO — Road repairs are planned for three stretches of highways in the Fort Wayne area, which began on Friday.

The Indiana Department of Transportation said the work will take place these locations, in no specific order:

• U.S. 33, in Whitley County, between McCoy Drive and Clingerman Avenue in the town of Churubusco; and

• S.R. 327 in DeKalb County, between U.S. 6 and S.R. 4;

• U.S. 33, in Noble County, between S.R. 9 and U.S. 6.

During the day, drivers are cautioned to watch for lane shifts, possible stopped traffic and flaggers in the construction zones. INDOT reminded drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active work zone.

E&B Paving was awarded the projects for its bid of $706,000 and is expected to have them completed in early August, weather permitting.

The projects may be viewed in INDOT’s online travel system at INDOT.carsprogram.org.
