Worricks celebrated 50th anniversary

Danny and Linda (Linvill) Worrick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 14. They were united in marriage on Sept. 14, 1969, at the Columbia City United Methodist Church. Their parents are the late Lester and Joy Worrick, of Columbia City, and Lawrence and Beatrice Linvill, of Churubusco. Together, they have been blessed with four children and their spouses: Christopher (Holly) Worrick, Annette (Matthew) Minthorn, Nathaniel (Marie) Worrick and Phillip Worrick; and six grandchildren: Greta and Reese Minthorn, and Alyssa, Rachel, Joseph and Catherine Worrick. Danny retired from More Farm Store after more than 40 years of service, and continues to farm alongside his sons. Linda, a licensed beautician, worked for a couple of years at a local salon and then stayed home to raise their children. She continues to be an in-home babysitter to her grandchildren. The couple are members of the Columbia City United Methodist Church and reside in southern Whitley County on a farm that has been in the family for over 100 years. You will find the couple attending many of their grandchildrens’ school and 4-H events. The couple celebrated with a dinner with family and close friends.
