Foundation supports Noble Trails

Community Foundation of Noble County executive director Brad Graden, left, recently presented Noble Trails with $5,000 toward the matching grant from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. Accepting the check are Noble Trails’ treasurer Deanna Spidel and president Dr. Terry Gaff. The matching grant funds are being used to pave a section of the trail between C.R. 450E and C.R. 800N, where walkers, runners and cyclists previously had to use a dangerous half-mile section of road to continue on the trail. To make a donation, go online by Oct. 6 to patronicity.com/fishinglinetrail, or mail a check to Noble Trails, P.O. Box 654, Rome City, IN 467584. The photo is being republished to correct the ZIP code.
