Preparing for the Christmas Tree Walk

A Cahoot Coffee Cafe team decorated the Christmas tree at the facility at 218 W. Maumee St., Angola, which has a mission to provide a safe space for youth to thrive, in preparation for Cahoots Christmas Tree Walk. The walk is open to all Angola downtown businesses, who are asked to decorate a tree in their windows for inclusion in a Dec. 4 event. For a $25 donation to Cahoots, businesses will be included on the evening's walk and eligible for a people's choice award. For details, email to aoberlin@kpcmedia.com. Monday's tree trimming team included, from left, Cahoots Youth Advisory Council members Olivia and Evelyn Stoy, Cahoots volunteer Mike Cain and his grandson Liam Young, barista Murray Malone and youth council members Marcus Miller and Kathryn Baker. The tree is decked in a whimsical pandemic theme, complete with festive face masks and toilet paper.
