St. John offering sale

KENDALLVILLE — St. John Lutheran Church is hosting its Summer Trrasure Sale for three days out of June.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 26, 27 and 28, shoppers can buy toys, purses, jewelry, home decor, books, movies, lamps, vintage items and linens. No clothes will be for sale.

Merriam Chapel starting VBS and day camp

ALBION — Children from 4 years old through those entering sixth grade this fall will enjoy VBS and Day Camp at Merriam Christian Chapel, June 17-21.

Music, Bible teaching, crafts and other fun activities center around the theme The Incredible Race (Answers in Genesis).

VBS, for boys and girls 4 years old through first graders next year, meets from 9-11:40 a.m. Day Camp for second through sixth graders next year meets from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; lunch is included.

Adams Voice to perform

KENDALLVILLE — CrossPointe Church of the Nazarene will host Adams Voice, a family gospel and worship band, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Adams Voice is a family of six that travels the country spreading the gospel through song. The four children in the group perform and play violins in every concert.

CrossPointe Church of the Nazarene is at 205 Highpointe Crossing in Kendallville.

Ice cream social planned

BRIMFIELD — Brimfield United Methodist Church is having an ice cream social July 6. Food will include homemade ice cream, hot chicken sandwiches, sloppy joe sandwiches, hot dogs, baked beans, assorted salads, pies and cakes.

Hours are 4-7 p.m. All proceeds will be used for missions. Please contact Carolyn Morr at 336-1945 with questions.
