Bike hikers make train stop

Participants in Sunday’s Progressive Bike Hike sponsored by the Greater Garrett Initiative stopped at five city parks where various programs were presented. One stop was at Heritage Park just north of the underpass, site of the Garrett Historical Museum where a model train exhibit is set up in the lower level. Watching an HO-scale train on the track, from left, are bike hike participants Johnathan Reinhold, 12, Darryn Underwood, 14, Luke Hicks, 11, Kennedy Underwood, 11, and Connor Morimanno, 11. More activities are planned later this year.
