Polar plungers take annual dip

Here are a couple of different views from this year’s Jack D. Gibson Memorial Polar Plunge at Hamilton Lake, which was in its 25th year. Above is the scene from the plunge 5 minutes before it was ready to disrobe and jump in the chilly Hamilton Lake waters. Below is the scene at the public beach 5 minutes after the event ended, with most participants having left the venue in favor of warmer and, perhaps, drier environs.
