Top Heart Association fundraisers

The top donation collectors at the Prairie Heights Elementary School American Heart Association Kids’ Heart Challenge were, from left, Meliah Shelton, Willow Grate, Emily Lower, Jed Young, Jameson Johnson and physical education teacher Cheryl Hamlin. Prairie Heights students collected money for the American Heart Association Kids’ Heart Challenge for two weeks. The top fundraising classes were: Sarah Maas with $934, Laura Freed with $918, Marina Hoover with $821 and Laura Allen with $515. The top two classes with the most students registered online were Maas with 12 students and Caitlin Tracey with 10 students. The top donation collectors are Jameson Johnson with $571.58, Willow Grate with $540, Jed Young with $379.16, Emily Lower with $315 and Meliah Shelton with $263.51. There were 126 students who participated with 65 donations collected. The school total was $6,876.19. “We are so proud of our students! Thank you to our families and community for your support,” said Principal Alecia Pfefferkorn.
