Tight fit

Workers with Yardberry Landscaping and Excavating work to thread pipe into existing pipe that carries Follett Creek’s water from Marsh Lake, under Interstate 69 and into Little Otter Lake. The plastic pipe has to be threaded and then pushed through the existing steel pipe. Once done, workers will fuse the pipes together with heat then grout them in place. The new pipes are about 11 feet in diameter. Yardberry has been working on similar Indiana Department of Transportation projects in DeKalb and Steuben counties.
