Middle school presents ‘Singin’ in the Rain Jr.’

This cast of DeKalb Middle School students will present the musical “Singin’ in the Rain Jr.” Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are priced at $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

WATERLOO — DeKalb Middle School will present the musical, “Singin’ in the Rain Jr.” Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The production is based on the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film and features a large student cast and many musical numbers.

“We have an extremely talented group of students, and I know the audience will really enjoy this familiar show. It is hilarious,” said director Judy Marlow.

Tickets are priced at $6 in advance and $7 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the middle school office during the day or in the school commons during rehearsals from 3:30-5:30 p.m. daily.

Cast members are: Olivia Rigby, Gabe Tobierre, Sophia Bell, Quentin Penrod, Wynter Lower, Aidan Wissing, Dorian Underwood, Meghan Hinkle, Leah Samuelson, Linkoln Morin, Scout Warner, Jaquelyn Davenport, Kyana Krontz, Gavin Kling, Jaren McIntire, Keenan Brown, Clayton Brown, Elijah Knepper, Eva Hallman, Hannah Perry, Ava Harris, Audra Martin, Brianna George, Marissa Boxell, Abby De Tray, Damion Miller, Olivia Woodcox, Aimee Kassinger, Jozie VanderHorst, Scott Slaybaugh, Mallory Eltzroth, Mataya Griffith, Emma Huth, Braya Keen, Auburn Nordmann, Lilly Saurbeck, Addison Taylor, Zera Utnage, Madi Barth, Regan Nordman, Zoe Reed and Kaitlyn Squires.
