FISHERS — Two teams from Central Noble schools advanced to the state competition in Destination ImagiNation at the regional event at Hamilton Southeastern Schools in Fishers March 8.

An Albion Elementary School team came in first among 13 teams in its division by placing first in both instant challenge and team challenge.

They also received a special award for creative design.

The elementary school team consisted of Seth Knepper, Jackson Hoover, Aidan Dreibelbis, Kelsey Egolf, Haleigh Egolf, Will Hoover and Alea Hoover. It is coached by Deb Robertson.

The high school team consisting of Noah Lien, Bethany Buchanan, Shannon Rockey and coach Deb Sieber placed second in its division.

Both teams advance to the state finals in Indianapolis April 12.

Three other Central Noble teams also competed March 8.

Central Noble Middle School students on two teams were Andrea Leonhardt, Madison Bremer, Kelsey Conley, Emma Knox and Emma King, coached by Stephanie Leonhardt.

Another Albion Elementary team consisted of Claire Weiss, Amelia Anglin, Kelsey Gardner, Alexis Jennings, Auabrey Sparrow, Kylie Norris and Xiola McClish, coached by Brian Wesson.
