WOLCOTTVILLE — A late night fire Tuesday destroyed a building, a feed truck and a feed grinder as well as grain and molasses at the Wolfe Co-op on the south side of Wolcottville.

The fire broke out shortly before midnight. Firefighters reportedly were on the scene within minutes. At least six different companies were on the scene, which kept firefighters busy until the early morning hours Wednesday.

Lamar Bontrager, general manager of the feed company, estimated the damages at more than $300,000.
