Officers arrest 35

AUBURN — Local police officers arrested 35 people between May 12 and Sunday, according to DeKalb County Jail records.

Justin Duncan, 32, of the 700 block of Griswold Court, Auburn, was arrested May 12 at 4:05 p.m. by the Auburn Police Department on a charge of domestic battery, a Level 6 felony.

Devon Webb, 22, of the 400 block of East Toledo Street, Fremont, was arrested May 12 at 1:36 a.m. by the Indiana State Police on a charge of criminal recklessness.

Roy Wilson, 48, of the 400 block of East Green Street, Butler, was arrested May 13 at 12:32 a.m. by the Butler Police Department on a charge of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.

Gregory Custer, 47, of the 500 block of North Beech Street, Butler, was arrested May 13 at 1:49 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated or with an unlawful alcohol concentration in blood or breath, with a previous conviction, a Level 6 felony, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor.

Michael Alford, 44, of the 600 block of First Street, Hudson, was arrested May 13 at 1:55 p.m. by the Waterloo Police Department on a charge of carrying a handgun without a license, a Class A misdemeanor.

Tyler Schlaack, 37, listed in jail records as a homeless resident of Garrett, was arrested May 13 at 1:55 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of possession of a controlled substance, a Level 6 felony; neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, hash oil, hashish, or salvia, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Netasha Chastain, 37, of the 1200 block of West Quincy Street, Garrett, was arrested May 13 at 1:55 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony; neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Brytannie Morningstar, 35, of the 100 block of East Baltimore Street, Garrett, was arrested May 13 at 2:12 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on a DeKalb County warrant on charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony; neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor; and failure to appear in court on five other previous charges.

Joseph Fritz, 25, of the 6100 block of S.R. 205, Garrett, was arrested May 13 at 9:35 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant charging him with driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor; leaving the scene of an accident, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Terell Moore, 26, of the 4300 block of Richfield Lane, Fort Wayne, was arrested May 13 at 11:53 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant for alleged failure to appear in court on charges of resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony, possession of marijuana, a Level 6 felony; dealing marijuana, a Level 6 felony; and reckless driving, a Class C misdemeanor.

Michael Teegarden, 56, of the 500 block of East Main Street, Butler, was arrested May 14 at 10:38 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court on charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, a Level 6 felony.

Corey Limauro, 22, of the 1000 block of North Greenbriar Drive, Columbia City, was arrested May 14 at 11 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant alleging failure to appear in court on charges of dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, Level 6 felonies.

Derek Egly, 33, of the 1400 block of Garden Street, Avilla, was arrested May 14 at 11:54 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant charging him with domestic battery with a prior conviction, a Level 5 felony, and criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor.

Julia Rinard, 43, of the 500 block of North Center Street, Waterloo, was arrested May 14 at 1 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant charging her with home improvement fraud, a Level 6 felony.

Alex Bates, 31, of the 300 block of West Superior Street, Fort Wayne, was arrested May 14 at 3:34 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant charging him with a probation violation.

Jeremiah Little, 26, of the 4000 block of K Drive South, East Leroy, Michigan, was arrested May 5 at 12:15 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant charging him with a probation violation.

Kurt Robinson, 40, of the 300 block of East Ninth Street, Auburn, was arrested May 15 at 4:31 p.m. by the Indiana State Police on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated or with an unlawful alcohol concentration in blood or breath while having a previous conviction, a Level 6 felony, and operating a vehicle with an unlawful alcohol concentration in blood or breath, a Class A misdemeanor.

Pedro Perez, 36, of the 200 block of South Walsh Street, Garrett, was arrested May 15 at 11 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of strangulation, a Level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.

Richie Worman, 39, of the 300 block of West Hazel Street, Albion, was arrested May 16 at 12:42 a.m. by the Garrett Police Department on a charge of resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony.

Beverly Washington, 21, of the 3500 block of North C.R. 200E, LaGrange, was arrested May 16 at 6:10 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on charges of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor.

Austin Vaniwaarden, 25, of the 6600 block of Lake Michigan Drive, Allendale, Michigan, was arrested May 16 at 9:20 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant alleging failure to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Joshua Gordon, 37, of the 1200 block of Rohm Drive, Auburn, was arrested May 16 at 7:12 p.m. by the Auburn Police Department on charges of domestic battery, a Level 6 felony, and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor.

Dylan Knight, 24, of the 300 block of Fairfax Court, Garrett, was arrested May 16 at 11:25 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor; leaving the scene of an accident, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.

Richard Schlatter, 41, of the 2000 block of Thompson Avenue, Fort Wayne, was arrested Thursday at 3:37 p.m. by the Allen County Jail staff on a DeKalb County warrant alleging failure to appear in court on a charge of criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor.

Scott Shirk, 24, of the 900 block of Baer Pass, Garrett, was arrested Thursday at 3:37 p.m. by the Allen County Jail staff on a DeKalb County warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction, Class A misdemeanor.

Daniel Rottger, 55, of the 900 block of North Randolph Street, Garrett, was arrested Thursday at 4:02 p.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated while having a previous conviction, a Level 6 felony; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor.

Steven Ward, 44, of the 400 block of East Covell Street, Garrett, was arrested Saturday at 1:14 a.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated or with an unlawful alcohol concentration in blood or breath, while having a previous conviction, a Level 6 felony; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor.

Aaron Hale, 32, of Hamilton was arrested Saturday at 2:04 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant charging him with theft as a Level 6 felony and Class A misdemeanor.

Dimitri Kruse, 28, of the 600 block of East Mitchell Street, Kendallville, was arrested Saturday at 3:54 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated or with an unlawful alcohol concentration in blood or breath, while having a previous conviction, a Level 6 felony; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor

Charles Miller, 62, of the 800 block of West State Street, Ashley, was arrested Saturday at 5:59 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor.

Kyla Wickline, 25, of the 500 block of North Martha Street, Angola, was arrested Sunday at 8:20 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a DeKalb County warrant alleging failure to appear in court on charges of domestic battery and driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor.

Christina Turner, 23, of Country Forest Drive, Fort Wayne, was arrested Sunday at 4:05 a.m. by the Garrett Police Department on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class A and Class C misdemeanor.

Mark Leazier, 40, of the 400 block of Mathews Street, Kendallville, was arrested Sunday at 7:13 a.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor.

Joshua Stevens, 28, of East Edgewater Drive, Garrett, was arrested Sunday at 8:35 a.m. by the Garrett Police Department on a charge of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor.

Paul Lytle, 37, of the 1000 block of West Wayne Street, Paulding, Ohio, was arrested Sunday at 1:46 p.m. by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor.
