No injuries in Friday car fire

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of Interstate 69 at the 330 mile-marker southbound around 5:35 p.m. on reports of a vehicle fire along the berm. The vehicle was fully engulfed upon arrival and the driver was out of the car. The Auburn Fire Department responded to the call and had the fire out in approximately five minutes. The highway was closed for a brief time.
