Vandalism hits outdoor theater

Vandalism at the DeKalb Outdoor Theater was discovered Saturday, the Auburn Police Department reported. Someone spray-painted two lamp post bases, one with the letters “BLM” and the other with a figure resembling a phallic symbol, a police report said. Someone also dumped remnants of four televisions next to a tree on the property at 300 S. Center St. Police said the theater was the victim of criminal mischief and had requested extra patrols.
