Digitizing church histories

The staff and board of the Eckhart Public Library hosted a reception at the Willennar Genealogy Center Tuesday to announce a grant awarded to the library to digitize select images and records from the Auburn Presbyterian and Auburn First United Methodist churches. The library has received a $15,000 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Indiana State Library, to support the project.
