Auburn riders join hero’s escort

Four members of the Godfathers Motorcycle Club of Auburn rode in Sunday’s procession escorting the body of Marine Cpl. Humberto Sanchez from Grissom Air Force Base to his hometown of Logansport. He was killed along with 12 other U.S. service members in an attack Aug. 26 at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. A reported 8,000 motorcycles followed the hearse on its approximately 20-mile journey, as thousands of people lined the roadsides, many with U.S. flags.
