New DeKalb County recorder takes oath

Leta Hullinger takes her oath of office as the new DeKalb County recorder in a ceremony Thursday in DeKalb Superior Court II in Auburn. Judge Monte L. Brown administers the oath. Watching are the new recorder’s husband, Dean Hullinger, and her granddaughter, Piper, who holds a Bible that Mrs. Hullinger received from her parents on Christmas 1970. Also attending the ceremony were Mrs. Hullinger’s parents, Jack and Nancy Wallace, and her sister, Dawn Aschleman.
